And to wash it all down, we had yogurt drink/apple ribena and fruits :) Is your mouth watering yet? ;) Coz that’s exactly what my housemate n’ i had for dinner last night. No, it wasn’t at some fancy western food joint. We cooked it all by ourselves… :) Sorry there’s no visual accompaniment yea. By the time we finished cookin’, our rumbling stomachs called for immediate attention. Hahah… The menu the night before was not bad as well- corned beef with potatoes onions, n’ garlic, and dried sotong bak kut teh… Yeah, i know.. it’s quite a weird combination but heck, definitely tastes better than eating out ;) Hehe… budding future chefs.. Hmmm… maybe should consider changing our courses…

Hotlink & Animax anime fest

Last sat, the guys (Lb n’ Yw) n’ I went for the Hotlink anime fest in Sungai Wang n’ boy, what a major disappointment! It was practically a dead event with only a few hotlink promoters as cosplayers and they weren’t even cute! Well, except for one girl :) d’ guys (not knowing my preference) asked me to talk to her n’ get her number then give it to them. I jokingly told them that if she really gave it to me then they could juz forget bout her n’ Lb, being quite perasan bout his looks said he could make her straight… Talk bout being self-assured man! Hahah… Please la wei… if she likes girls, there’s no way any guy could turn her towards the ‘right’ path… unless she’s bi… or confused. Anyway, back to the event... there’s only 2 words to describe it- it sucked. There was hardly anythin’ worth seeing plus the ‘girl from hell’ cosplayer had the thickest make-up I’d ever seen n she was OLD!! Ok… so technically girl from hell’s supposed to be a hundred over since she never dies but she’s still portrayed as a young girl in d’ anime. n’ here was a 40 yr old woman cosplaying as her! Pretty creepy, come to think of it. *shudders*
So anyway, we hopped over to Times Square where Yw suddenly decided 2 return to his 2nd childhood by looking at toys. Expensive high tech toys mind you… remote controlled helicopters, robots that do a variety of functions, robotic dinosaur pet, etc… those two even tried to drag me to d’ theme park which 4 yrs back malfunctioned n’ left a few of my frenz stuck upside down for 5 whole minutes. And I really mean drag. They both hooked an arm thru each of mine n’ started pulling me towards the entrance while I fought for dear life. Giving up after a while, Yw told me I was surprisingly strong as he n’ Lb could hardly move me… Lolz.. what d’you expect? *smirks*

Hospitalized :'(

I know I haven’t been updating lately but life hasn’t been treating me too well. Been sick for the past 2 weeks. Started off with diarrhoea which led to wind which made me unable to eat n’ throw up. So off I went to see a doctor. but I didn’t get better… worse in fact… I had an exam comin up on the next monday so in desperation, I went to a different doctor who did a blood test n’ gave me different medication but still no improvement. My stomach still hurt, I was still unable to eat, still throwing up. I didn’t make the exam that Monday... my aunt took me back to the doctor n’ after a few tests n’ questions said that I had to be admitted into the hospital. OMG!! I was so damn scared k! Turns out they’d been treating the wrong stuff all this time n’ now it was serious!! The gastric juices had nothing to digest n everytime I threw up, it’d move up n inflame my gastronomical tract (my esophagus being the 1st), causing more nausea n stomach ache= more throwing up and repetition of the whole process. And so the reflux action goes on n’ on. The only way to stop it was to stop eating. Which was impossible. Unless I was on drip. Which meant stayin’ in the hospital. Damn. So they poked the needles n’ tubes in, took whatever blood they needed, let the glucose/saline solution drip in, etc etc… i was too dead to care.

And when I started feelin better, d’ loneliness set in… all the other patients had lotsa visitors while I had none. Sigh… my 1st time in the hospital just had to be in kl… all alone away frm home… thank god for my aunt who at least came to bring me stuff. Tho’ she doesn’t stay around, I understand that she’s busy n’ it’s difficult to come visit since she can’t drive. Couldn’t sleep that nite… hospital was freakin cold k… couldn’t stop shivering. I made up my mind then- I didn’t care if I was better, I wanted out. So I struggled with the nausea, ignored d’ pain, lied to the doc that I was ‘much better’ n’ he believed me. Was finally discharged at 4sumthin d’ next day. But b4 that, another pain enduring session-the removal of the tube connected to my hand. They assigned a trainee to it! Omg… d whole process hurt so much k… n’ the worst part was having to listen to her supervisor go “no, no.. you’re not supposed to do this. Do that. No stop, press here…” n so on.. Arghh!! Damn painful k.. n’ to my horror, there was blood everywhere!! Dripping down my hand to my feet n’ the floor… couldn’t move my hand properly for the rest of the day. The bruise is still visible even now k... Was back in pg for a few days to recuperate… feelin much better tho’ still a bit nauseated at times. Thanks grace for visiting me :) I missed u k :)

Anyway, now that im back, gotta worry bout my chem, physio, calculus n’ java mid-term all within this week. Plus a lot of labs n’ work to catch up on… Damn.

Omgosh. What a weekend. Took a LRT to Sentul Timur where tracy picked me up. Her friend sittin in the passenger seat turned around n’ intro-ed herself- Melanie, a fellow Penangite who’s studying in Help. She’s pretty *blushes* and nice too! :) Anyway, tracy had 2 pass up her assignment so off we went to UTAR wif tracy driving like a MADMAN!!! *shrieks hysterically* :S hahah.. UTAR is pretty huge… a bit dead tho’ but i suppose it's bcoz it was already 5pm.

We had steamboat that night using the rice cooker-tomyam soup, meat, balls, mushrooms, crabstick, vege, u name it.... Mmm... it was all good! :) n' to top it off, there was ice cream 4 dessert!! yum! :pAfter dinner, us 4 girls-tracy, melanie, mel n' i-played chor tai ti... pre-training 4 cny ;) heheh.. won a few, lost a few... and watched 'American pie: the naked mile'. oh man!! it's so so so funny k!! u guys juz gotta watch it! couldn't stop laughing!! hahaha.. melanie, if ur readin' this, arent u glad u stayed 4 d' movie? ;)

D next day was a lazy 1... we lazed around til like 6sumthin b4 headin' out. dinner was at Secret Recipie in Centerpoint and then.... adventure struck!! we missed d' turning 2 Penchala link n' ended up in Bandar Seri Damansara where d' road went round in circles. we were like, 'eh? didnt we juz pass this?' hahah.. in d' end we decided 2 use d main road n' follow all d other cars coz it was pretty late by then n' heck, where would all that traffic be heading to but KL right? WRONG! we ended up in Sungai Buloh, which, would've been fine if we could see d' jejantas so we could at least u-turn but no.. all we saw was kampung.. but d' signboard stated that klang was straight ahead so we kept goin... n goin.. d' cars bcame fewer, d houses more kampung-like... n' yet we kept goin... anyway, we finally made a u-turn n asked 4 directions. thank God we managed 2 find our way back k... it was quite freaky la.. wat if we ended up back in Pg? hahah..
so yeah.. unsatisfied wif our erm.. lack of adventure, we headed 2 d' big city 2 check out d' nightlife wif tracy's fren(whom she cheated a stamp of) as our tourguide ;) passed by d' club areas like maison n' zouk... KL is damn happening man!! wanna try it out 1 day. heheh.. n' oh yeah.. we saw hookers.. their boobs were practically popping out n' their skirts were fuckin short k.. i cud actually see their butt n boy were dey ganas! one was dancin on d streets n suddenly grabbed a passing guy's arm! d guy quickly flung off her hands n she, unbothered, continued dancin n' eying other unsuspecting targets.

Jian... u were missed terribly k!! cant wait fo' u 2 come down kl... den we can go visit d' eye of malaysia thingy, n' go genting, n' eat bbq plaza again, n' bak kut teh too!! ;)
